Virginia (Jeannie) R. Pinizzotto, 74 formerly of Steelton, PA , died at The Middletown Home, Monday, December 29, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Virginia was born March 30, 1951, to the late Anthony N. Pinizzotto & Mary M. Potami Pinizzotto. She is survived by her sister, Vikki Pinizzotto O’Leary (Joseph) Harrisburg; brothers, Vincent J. Pinizzotto (Andra) Harrisburg, PA, and Rev. Anthony J. Pinizzotto, Ashburn, VA; nephew Joseph A O’Leary, Portland, OR; Niece Aimee DeRobbio, Wormleysburg, PA; Niece Angela Schee (Ethan), Portland, OR and great niece Kaya DeRobbio, great nephews Samuel O’Leary and Anthony Schee and many cousins.
Jeannie loved the activities at the Middletown Home; she loved to smile and be surrounded by those that loved her and cared for her.
Jeannie was a member of the former St. Ann Church, Steelton and now member of Cathedral Parish of St. Patrick, Harrisburg.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at 11:00 am in St. Catherine Laboure Roman Catholic Church, 4000 Derry Street, Harrisburg, with her brother, Rev. Anthony J. Pinizzotto as Principal Celebrant. Burial at the conclusion of Mass will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Swatara Twp. There will be no viewing or visitation. Arrangements by Wiedeman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., Oberlin.
Vikki, Vince and Fr. Anthony would like to thank all the staff of the Middletown Home, and Jeannie’s Personal Aide Brandi, who over the years cared lovingly for Jeanie.
