Vilma L Belsak, 88, of Harrisburg PA , died on 25 December 2025 at Carolyn’s House in Harrisburg.Vilma was born in Panama to Elvira and Harry Hecker on 24 July 1937.

Vilma is survived by her daughter, Lynda Garlock and her husband Jeff Wright; granddaughter Jessica Wright Lockary (Evan); her sisters, Helen Chang and Marie Adkison; stepdaughters, Catherine Zales, Jacqueline Carpenter (Greg); step grandchildren, Kirsten Brennan (Mike), Jocelyn Lashley (Justin), Jeremiah Carpenter (Nicole), Jonathan Carpenter (Allison), John Paul Zales, Jeffrey Wright (Britney); great grandchildren, Sylas and Elara Lockary; Aiden and Bentley Wright; and Evey, Ruby, Addy, Eloise, Elliot, and Rhys. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Richard J. Garlock and Joseph R. Belsak; brother Harry Hecker; and stepdaughter Joanne Sosnowski. She will be missed by her lap cat Pearl.

Services are private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Steelton Community Cats or Prince of Peace Parish.
