Victoria (Schmidt) “Vicki” Sporik, 65, of Harrisburg, died on Monday, November 24, 2025 at UPMC Harrisburg Hospital. Born in Harrisburg on May 25, 1960, she was the daughter of the late Thomas B. Schmidt, Jr. and Regina (Kirbywhite) Schmidt. She was the loving wife of Michael Sporik.

Friend, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Artist, and most of all Teacher, Vicki graduated from St. Timothy’s School in Pikesville, MD, then attended Denison University in OH and earned bachelor’s degrees from The University of Virginia and Wilson College.

Vicki’s career as a teacher spanned three decades. She exuded a positive influence on those who were fortunate enough to encounter her.

Vicki’s desire to help others continued into her retirement, where she mentored fellow artists at River Bottom Pottery. Vicki also spent countless hours as a volunteer at the Central PA Food Bank.

In addition to her husband, Vicki is survived by her children Stephen, Daniel, Kara, and Christopher; grandchildren Leo, Lucy, Mackenzie, Morgan, and Stevie; siblings Thomas, Karen, and James; and her dog Remi.
