Valeria G. Gorecki, 89, of Bressler, died Wednesday, December 24, 2025 in her home, surrounded by her loving family.

She was a graduate of Lebanon High School and was a member of Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Parish, Bressler Ladies Auxiliary, St. Lawrence Lodge #13 and a former member of the German-American Club, Harrisburg.

Valeria was famous for her nut rolls.

She was the widow of John C. Gorecki and was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Michael. Valeria is survived by her children, John J. Gorecki and wife Tina, Debra Goodyear and husband Rick, Robert Gorecki and Andy Gorecki; two grandchildren, Angie and Eric; 4 great-grandchildren, Kameron, Tallon, Caley and Aspyn.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 2, 2026 at 11:00 am in Prince of Peace-Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, 815 South Second Street, Steelton, PA 17113. Burial at the conclusion of Mass will be in Resurrection Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Friday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am in the church.
