Thomas Phillippy

Thomas David Phillippy, Sr., 72, of Grantville, passed away at Hershey Medical Center on Tuesday, January 2, 2024. Born in Lebanon, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Dorothy (Bender) Phillippy. He was the loving husband of Jo Ann (Pinko) Phillippy, with whom he shared 47 years of marriage.
Thomas was a graduate of Lebanon High School in the class of 1969. He went on to work for All American Plaza for many years until his retirement as manager. He was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church. He was a collector of Vinyl Records and 16 mm Films. He was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan. Most of all, he was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather and will be very much missed.
In addition to his wife, Thomas is survived by his sons, Thomas Phillippy, Jr. and David Phillippy; his grandchildren Skylynn and Brayden; and his grand dogs Cooper, Lola, Sarge, Molly, and Gunner. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings Dennis Phillippy, Gary Phillippy, and Beverly Phillippy.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 12, 2024 at 11:00 AM in Holy Name of Jesus Church, 6150 Allentown Road, Harrisburg, PA 17112, with Rev. Damon Tritle as Celebrant. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Friday from 10:00-11:00 in his church.
