Srinivas Kakumanu

With deep sorrow and regret, we announce the passing of Srinivas Kakumanu on May 1, 2025. Srinivas, a cherished father, brother, husband, and son, was the second child of his loving parents, Kasturi Devi and Venkata Rangarao, in Madhya Pradesh, India. He had a happy childhood with his sibling Sridhar and many dear cousins, beloved relatives, and friends.

After completing his engineering degree in India, Srinivas moved to the United States to begin his career as an IT professional. He often spent his spare time building desktop computers, listening to music, or perfecting his newest gaming setup. Anyone close to him knew him as a tech-savvy and passionate person who was always up to date with the latest tech. He was the one you’d call to help with personal projects like setting up a home theater, troubleshooting a computer, or picking out your next phone. His interests were vast, and he always enjoyed an opportunity to converse with others on any subject.

He is profoundly missed by his family and friends, both now and always, and remembered for his vibrant smile and charisma. Srinivas is survived by his father Venkata Rangarao, wife Praveena, daughter Sana, son Anuj, brother Sridhar, sister-in-law Anu, nieces Sri and Siya, and all the other people he held dear.

The family will hold a private service on Wednesday, May 7, at Wiedeman Funeral Home in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
