Robert “Bob” Magnelli, 84, of Harrisburg, passed away at home with family by his side on Sunday, December 21, 2025. Born in Harrisburg on February 11, 1941, he was the son of the late Fedele and Carrie (Fillipelli) Magnelli.

Bob was a devoted Catholic and active member of St. Catherine Laboure Roman Catholic Church. He worked as a Mail Carrier for the USPS for 48 years until his retirement. He loved sports and was a fan of the Baltimore Orioles, Washington Red Skins, and Notre Dame.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, June (Thompson) Magnelli, his sons Robert Magnelli, Jr. of Fort Myers FL, and David Magnellie (Maryann) of New Market, MD; his stepsons Jud Walter (Jodi), and Todd Walter (Linda); his grandchildren Chase Magnelli, Calli Magnelli, Lindsey Walter, Andrew Jud “AJ” Walter (Cecile), Brady Walter (Lydia), and Haley Walter; and his greatgrandchildren Camden Hamilton, Emerson McVay, and Kru Singletary. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Magnelli.

A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, 6701 Jonestown Rd, Harrisburg, PA 17112. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association at www.heart.org
