Robert J. Albanese, 59, of Hershey passed away recently. Bob was the son of the late John Albanese and Annarose Gustin Albanese. Bob graduated from Hershey High School and attended Harrisburg Community College and the University of Nevada in Las Vegas (UNLV). He was a Microsoft certified technician. He was a lifetime resident of Hershey and a member of St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church, Hershey
Bob especially liked visiting national parks. Closer to home Bob enjoyed bike rides and basketball. He excelled in sports trivia. Bob is remembered for his amazing recall and witty one-liners.
Bob is survived by his sister Therese Bretz (James) of Harrisburg and brothers John (Robin) of Lafayette Hill, PA and Salida, Colorado and David (Melissa) of Pasadena, MD. He is also survived by four nephews, three nieces and two great-nieces.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday July 21, 2023 at 11:00 am in St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church, Hershey. Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery, Harrisburg. Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Oberlin is handling arrangements.
