Nicholas E. Weiss, 87, of Enhaut, Swatara Twp., died Saturday, May 11, 2024 in his home.

He worked in the construction area with various building contractors, was a retired Maintenance Worker for the Roman Catholic Diocesan Center, and later at Prince of Peace Parish. He was a member of Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Parish, Steelton and enjoyed playing the accordian.

Nick was the son of the late Edward N. and Mary A. Breski Weiss and is survived by two sons, Nicholas R.Weiss at home and Daniel M.Weiss and his wife, Julie of Lower Paxton Twp.; one daughter, Lynette R. Lopatic at home; two brothers, Edward Weiss of Hershey and Ronald J. Weiss of Sinking Spring; four grandchildren, Allison, Benjamin and Sophie Weiss and Lauren E. Wright (Lopatic).

Mass of Christian Burial will be concelebrated on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at 11:00 am in Prince of Peace-Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church with Rev. Steven J. Arena, his Pastor and Rev. Mark Weiss, as con-celebrants. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Thursday from 9:00 am until 10:30 am in Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 357 South Harrisburg St., Oberlin.
