Obituary

Michael T. Roller, Sr., 65, of Oberlin, passed away at home surrounded by family on Sunday, July 26, 2026. Born in Harrisburg on January 25, 1961, he was the son of the late Harry Roller, Sr. and Barbara (Hunter) Roller. He was also preceded in death by his son, Michael T. Roller, Jr.

Michael graduated from Central Dauphin East High School and went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree from the Thompson Institute. He worked for Swatara Township in Waste Management until his retirement. He was also the owner/operator of 5 long haul transport trucks. He was a member of the Bressler Club and the St. Lawrence Club. He was an avid fan of Penn State and the Philadelphia Eagles. He also loved music, especially classic rock. He loved animals and took in many dogs throughout his life.

Michael is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Bethann (Svec) Roller; his son Ryan Roller and his wife Lindsay Newman-Roller; and his grandson Braedyn Roller; as well as a large extended family.

Services are private and at the convenience of the family.
