Mary Kay (Looker) Shroy

Mary Kay (Looker) Shroy, 91, of Steelton, passed away Saturday, July 5, 2025 at River’s Ben Health & Rehab Center. Born in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Evelyn Looker. She was the loving wife of Richard Shroy, Sr., with whom she shared 73 years of marriage.

Mary was a member of the Roller Club and enjoyed crafting. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be very much missed.

In addition to her husband, Mary is survived by her sons Richard Shroy, Jr. and his wife Alice, and Lal Shroy and his wife Sandra; as well as 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings Marlin Looker, Eugene Looker, Red Wilder, Doris Fry, Larry Russo, and Don Looker.

A Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at Wiedeman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 357 S Harrisburg Street, Oberlin, PA 17113. Burial will follow at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. A Viewing will be held in the funeral home prior to service from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM.
