Marc Anthony Rivera, 29, of Middletown, passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2026. Born in Lewistown, PA on July 1, 1997, he was the son of Angel Rivera and Elizabeth Beam. In addition to his parents, he was survived by his loving fiancé Amber Fox; stepmother Marilyn Rivera; stepfather Carl Dieffenderfer, Sr.; siblings Christian Miguel Rivera, Angelica Naide Rivera Vega, Kriscilla Leanne Davis, and Angel Rivera, II; stepbrother Carl Edward’s Dieffenderfer Jr. ; paternal grandmother Luz E. Carraballo; and paternal grandparents Angel Rivera Sr., and Eliezer and Nayda Segarra; maternal grandfather John Zimmerman; uncle Louis Rivera; Aunts Janet Lee Hatcher, Myra Diaz , Luz Maldonado and Sarai Vazquez as well as a large extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Betty Zimmerman, and uncle Scott Hatcher.

Marc was known for his bright smile and happiness to be around those he loved. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, traveling, exploring, music, and dancing. He was proud of his Hispanic culture. His friends and family were most important to him. He was a loving son, brother, grandson, and fiancé who will be deeply missed.

A Memorial Service will take place at 1:00 PM on Saturday, August 8, 2026 at Wiedeman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 357 S Harrisburg St, Oberlin, PA 17113. A Visitation will be held in the funeral home prior to service from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM.
