Louis "Chuck" Belic, 72, of Swatara Township and formerly of Steelton, died Wednesday, November 29, 2023 in UPMC Harrisburg Hospital.

He was a retired housepainter and a former employee of Commonwealth of PA, a member of St. Nicholas Serbian Eastern Orthodox Church, Oberlin, the Serbian National Federation Lodge No. 37, a graduate of Steelton-Highspire High School Class of 1969, where he played basketball, baseball and football, and also a graduate of University of Virginia Class of 1973, and he was an avid football player for Chicago Fire and the Philadelphia Bell football teams in World Football League.

Chuck was the son of the late Miles Belic, Sr. and Mildred Mrkona Belic and is survived by one brother, Miles Belic, Jr. of Steelton. He was preceded in death by his sister, Sandra Belic Book.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at 11:00 am in St. Nicholas Serbian Eastern Orthodox Church, Oberlin with Rev. Christopher Rocknage officiating. Burial will be in Churchville Cemetery, Oberlin. A viewing will be held on Tuesday from 10:00 am until 11:00 am in his church. Arrangements are being handled by Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Oberlin.
