Leialoha R. Aguiar Handley

Leialoha R. Aguiar Handley, 94, of Steelton died Saturday June 7, 2025 at her daughter and son-in-law's house.

She was a retired seamstress for Gerber Fabrics, a Marine Corps Veteran of the Korean War and a member of Seven Sorrows Roman Catholic Church, Middletown.

Leialoha was the daughter of the late Ernest and Jeanette Aguiar, the widow of Richard J. Handley and is survived by, 3 sons; Timothy K. Handley and wife Lu-Ann, Highspire, Gilbert F. Handley, Steelton and James J. Handley and companion April Bateman, Middletown, 2 daughters; Gale M. Jorich and husband William, Highspire and Rose Michelle Handley, Middletown, 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Ricky Handley.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Homeland at Home Hospice for the love and care they gave Leialoha.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday June 18, 2025 at 11:30 am in Seven Sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church 280 N. Race St. Middletown PA 17057. Burial at the conclusion of mass will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery with full Military Honors. There will be no viewing or visitation. Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Oberlin are handling arrangements.
