John Michael Verroca, 63, of Lebanon and formerly of Steelton, passed away at home on Wednesday, June 17, 2026. Born in Steelton, he was the son of the late John J. and Josephine “Mim” (Gales) Verroca. He was the loving husband of June (Moonshine) Verroca.

John retired from Fort Indiantown Gap where he worked at the state garage in reservation maintenance for 35 years. He was a great sports enthusiast and especially followed Alabama Football and the San Francisco 49er’s.

In addition to his wife, John is survived by his daughters, Cassie Verroca (Anna) and Hannah Douglas; grandchildren Layla Douglas, Liam Douglas, and Savannah Douglas; and his sisters Mary Jo Intrieri and Terry Verroca; as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at Wiedeman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 357 S Harrisburg St, Oberlin, PA 17113. A Visitation will take place in the funeral home prior to service from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM.
