John J. Rastovac

John J. Rastovac, 77, of Middletown, passed away at Penn State Hershey Medical Center on Friday, August 8, 2025. Born in Harrisburg, he was the son of the late Stanley and Mildred (Kacijancic) Rastovac. He was also preceded in death by his son, David Rastovac, and his sisters Betty, Jeannie, and Francie.

John served his country in the US Marine Corps during the war in Vietnam. He worked as an Elevator Constructor for IUEC Local 59 until his retirement. He was a member of Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Parish. He was also a member of the Bressler Friendship Club, the Fifth Ward, VFW Post 8638, and American Legion Post 0998. He loved being with his companion dog, Auburn. In his spare time, he enjoyed cooking for his family, especially if he could use his smoker. Most of all he was a loving and devoted father and grandfather who will be missed by all.

John is survived by his son, John R. Rastovac of Middletown; his grandchildren Trenton Rastovac (Jordan), Nicholas Rastovac, Alec Rastovac, Lauren Lou Rastovac, and Lindsay Kerchner; his great-granddaughter Adelynn Rastovac; and his former wife Gloria Rastovac.
