Joanne M. (Summey) Stauffer, 77, of Bressler, passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2026 at Hershey Medical Center. She was born on August 8, 1948 in Chesapeake, VA. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Edward M. Stauffer, Jr.; brother James Summey; sister Wanda Summey; and daughter in law Eugenia Stauffer.

Joanne was an EMT in her younger years and was an active member of the Tricommunity Ambulance Association, where she served as President. She was also a member of the Oberlin Lions/Lioness’s Club. In her spare time, she loved crafts- especially sewing and painting and playing Poker or Bingo. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be deeply missed.

Joanne is survived by her son Edward M. Stauffer, III and his wife Penni; granddaughter Shannon Stauffer; grandson Ethan Stauffer and his fiancé Mackenzie Peifer; and great-grandchildren Eugenia and Elijah Johnson.

A Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 AM on Monday, August 10, 2026 at Wiedeman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 357 S Harrisburg St, Oberlin, PA 17113 with Pastor Ronald Folk officiating. Burial will follow at Churchville Cemetery. A Viewing will be held in the funeral prior to service from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM.
