Obituary
Joan A. Vogel, 86, of Steelton, died on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 in the Penn State M.S. Hershey Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Margaret Porco Kist; one son, Harry Vogel, Sr. and her sister Helen J. Kist.
Joan is survived by her husband of 64 years, Robert W. Vogel Sr.; two sons, Robert W. Vogel, Jr. and wife Cathy and Dennis E. Vogel and wife Vicki; one daughter, Denise Sviben and husband Fred; five grandchildren, Kristen, Harry Jr., Kaitlyn, Tanner and Lyndsey; five great-grandchildren, Faith, Madilyn, Ava, Alice and Juliana; two sisters, Elizabeth Lanzino and Marie Kist; one brother, James Kist.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at 11:00 am in Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 357 South Harrisburg St., Oberlin with Rev. Jonathan P. Sawicki, Officiating. Burial at the conclusion of services will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held on Tuesday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association, 1019 Mumma Rd. Lemoyne, PA 17043.
