Joan Marie Wenrich, 79, of Mechanicsburg, died on Sunday, April 26, 2026 at the VibraLife Rehabilitation Center in Mechanicsburg. She was the daughter of the late Alfred and Mary Scott. Joan is survived by her husband, Rev. Dr. Alan C. Wenrich, her daughter Melinda Bialousz and her husband Michael, her granddaughter Lily Grace, her sister Cecilia Wampler of York, and several nieces and nephews.

Joan was a graduate of Bishop McDevitt High School and the Harrisburg Hospital Laboratory School of Technology. She was a chemistry laboratory technician for 47 years at the Harrisburg Hospital. Joan was a gifted artist with her stained glass and jewelry creations. She was a devout supporter of The Harrisburg Singers.

Funeral liturgy for Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 2nd at 11:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church, 221 S Second Street, Steelton, PA 17113 where Joan was a member. Inurnment will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Mechanicsburg.
