Obituary of Joan M. Bowles
Joan M. Kautz Bowles, 84 of Harrisburg, formerly of Oberlin, passed peacefully into eternal life, on Thursday November 26, 2020 in her home.
Joan was born in Steelton, on September 10,1936 to the late Martin and Elizabeth (Mack) Kautz. She graduated from Harrisburg Catholic High School in 1954, and was a current member of Good Shepherd Evangelical Lutheran Church of Harrisburg. Joan was a stay at home mother for many years, but returned to the work force with numerous clerical positions.
She is survived by her daughter, JoAnn R. of Harrisburg, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Martin Kautz Jr.
Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Oberlin is handling arrangements.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to: Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 3700 Rutherford St. Harrisburg, PA 17111.
