Jeffrey William Johnson

Jeffrey William Johnson, 48, of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania passed away unexpectedly Thursday, November 6, 2025, at his home.
Jeffrey (Jeff) was born in Fremont, Ohio, June 27, 1977. He came in with a tornado, literally, the night he was born. He also strategically made his arrival just four minutes after midnight, to share his mother's birthday.

Jeff was preceded in death by his father, William Leo, grandparents William and Julia Johnson, Ervin and Donna Greener, great-grandparents, and his beloved dogs, Mugsy and Zander.

Jeff is survived by mother; Marcia, sister; Kelly (Beau) Cline, nephew; Kyle (Alyssa) Espenshade, extended family and friends.
Jeff was a 1995 graduate of Hempfield High School, Landisville, Pennsylvania, and a 1977 graduate of sarcasm.

Jeff recently worked for Hershey Chocolate in Hershey, Pennsylvania. He was well-known and well-loved as a moulding trainer/certifier. Jeff also served as the first shift chief union stewart and proudly served as the union president of the Chocolate Workers Local 464.

He was happiest when he was able to score a deal on a sought-out car to add to his collection of more than thirty cars. His favorites included his Charger, Challenger, and 300C SRT. Others include a Veloster, his old Ford pick-up truck, "Betsy" and his recently restored 1989 red Camaro RS. Most registered had a clever license plate to make people look and smile. Another favored ride was "Ollie" the 1955 Oliver 66 row crop tractor to do "tractor things", like driving it to town to get gas.

Jeff's kind heart extended to friends, family, and his love of animals.

Definitely a kid at Christmas, Jeff drove hours in the middle of the night to be with family and start festivities as some were barely awake.
Although his time here was limited, Jeff created friendships that lasted lifetimes and always had a funny story to tell. For now, the next time you hear Guns N' Roses playing, blast it to the point of needing earplugs so Jeffrey can ride with you once more.
