Jeanette Marie “Cookie” (Hocker) Sullivan, 73, of Harrisburg, died at Harrisburg Hospital surrounded by family on Monday, July 8, 2024. Born in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late John and Eva (Jones) Hocker. She was the loving wife of John Sullivan, with whom she shared 35 years of marriage.
Jeanette enjoyed playing the lottery and Bingo, and going to casinos. She was also a big fan of Elvis Pressley. Most of all, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be missed by all.
In addition to her husband, Jeanette is survived by her daughters Teresa Ruf and her husband Gene, and Tracie Sullivan; her grandchildren Heather Cordero and her husband David, Gary Yaremchak and his wife Kim, Jasmine Benner and her husband Dequan Cherry, and Dylan Benner; her great-grandchildren David Cordero, Brooklyn Yaremchak, La’Rae Cherry, and Julian Cordero; and her brother Butch Hocker.
A Viewing will take place on Friday, July 12, 2024 at Wiedeman Funeral Home, 357 S Harrisburg Street, Oberlin, PA 17113 from 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM.
