Janet E. Stoyer Sheely, 101, of Mechanicsburg, died Saturday, May 21, 2022 in Messiah Lifeways, Upper Allen Township.

She was a graduate of John Harris High School, Class of 1939 and a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Camp Hill; Cumberland County Historical Society; Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and the Mechanicsburg Museum Assoc.

She was the daughter of the late Martin L. Stoyer, Sr. and Louise A. Haulman Stoyer and the widow of Lt. Col. Roy M. Sheely, Jr. She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family in St. John's Cemetery, Shiremanstown, PA. There will no viewing or visitation. Arrangements by Wiedeman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc.
