Jane F. (Remesnik) Okum, 74, of Grantville, passed away peacefully on Friday September 24, 2021.
She was born on February 4, 1947, the daughter of the late John and Vera (Gross) Remesnik.
Jane worked for and retired from the Federal Government. In her free time, she loved to visit her favorite beach, Ocean City, Maryland. She also enjoyed cross stitching and crocheting, campfires, fireworks, and spending time with family. She is survived by her loving husband, William M. Okum; One son, Brian M. Okum and his wife Vanessa S. Okum.; and one grandchild, Emmett M. Okum.
Jane’s love for her grandson, Emmett, brought a special joy and light to her life that will shine on forever. Emmett loves you, Mima!
Funeral Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Oberlin.
