Helen A. Bailey, 90, of Harrisburg, passed away peacefully in her nephew''s home on Monday, November 29, 2021.

She was retired from Ironworkers Local Union #404, Harrisburg, and was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Steelton, Capital City Polka Dancers Assn., and a volunteer at Frey Village. She was a graduate of William Penn High School class of 1949.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Catherine Sulzer Welter; three sisters, Catherine, Betty and Evelyn; was the widow of Glen Stanley and George "Dan" Bailey and is survived by one daughter, Valerie Dockery (Lynn) of Church Hill, TN; one son, Stephen Stanley of Madisonville, TN; three step-sons, David Bailey( Donna) , Robert Bailey(Susan) and Stuart Bailey(Julie) all of Harrisburg; five grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, 4 step-great-grandchildren, two brothers, Harry Welter(Elaine) and Leroy Welter(Jeanne), and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 6, 2021 at 1:00 pm in Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 357 South Harrisburg St., Oberlin. Burial in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held on Monday from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to her church 221 S. Second St., Steelton, PA 17113.
