Obituary

Grace Louise (Rende) Kepp, 89, of Bressler, passed away peacefully in her home with her loving children by her side on Friday, June 26, 2026. Born in Harrisburg on May 31, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Rose (Fure) Rende. She was the loving wife of the late Richard Kepp, Sr., with whom she shared 62 years of marriage until his passing in 2016.

Grace graduated from William Penn High School in Harrisburg and worked for many years as a keypunch operator for the State of Pennsylvania.

Grace was the matriarch of the family. She was the best wife, mother, and friend in the world. She was full of love for all, had a wonderful sense of humor and deep devotion to God. With a smile and laughter that were contagious, she was a blessing to everyone who knew her.

Grace most loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed the outdoors, having traveled to several states with family and friends for fishing excursions and hunting trips. She enjoyed her camp “Kepp’s Kabin” in Cameron County where family and friends enjoyed many memorable fireside getaways. To Grace, family and friends weren’t just important, they were everything.

Grace’s hobbies and interests included crocheting and knitting baby blankets and afghans for family and friends. She also enjoyed cooking and baking and was especially famous for her nut rolls and cookies.

Grace was a member of Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Parish, the St. Lawrence Club, Dutch Club, Bressler Club, and the Sinnamahoning Sportsman’s Club.

Grace is survived by her son Richard Kepp, Jr. (Gayle); her daughter Theresa Kepp; and many nieces and nephews.
