Gerald G. "Wimpy" Meek, 91, of Mechanicsburg, died on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 in the Butler St. Assisted Living Center, Susquehanna Twp..

He was a retired truck driver for New Penn Trucking, a US Navy Veteran of the Korean War serving on the USS Wisconsin and a member of St. Paul''s Lutheran Church, Enola.

He was preceded in death by one son, Ronald and one sister, Helen.

Gerald was the widower of JoAnn C. Meek and is survived by one son, Donald Meek and wife Tracy; one step-son, James Stover and wife, Laura; one step-daughter, Michele Michaels; one sister, Beverly King and husband Frank; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at 1:00 pm in Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 357 South Harrisburg St., Oberlin, with the Rev. Pamela Illick, officiating. Burial in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held on Tuesday from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm in Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc.
