Frank P. Grubic, 83, of Harrisburg, passed away on October 21, 2026, at home. He was the son of the late Frank and Mary Grubic.
Frank grew up in Enhaut, PA, and graduated from Bishop McDevitt High School in 1961. He began his career as a carpet installer for Keystone Rug Company. In 1969, he started his own business, Frank P. Grubic Flooring, selling and installing flooring. He took great pride in being his own boss and carpeted the floors of many homes throughout the surrounding area. Frank worked day and night to build his business, and in 1972 he opened a flooring store on the square in Oberlin, PA, which served the community for 43 years.
Frank loved to drive. He made many trips to Michigan to visit family, and later in life he delivered sports memorabilia for Best Authentics. He loved to travel and saw many different places. He was a lifelong fan of Elvis Presley's music and loved to dance to polka music, especially that of Frankie Yankovic.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Gloria Jean "Jeannie" Grubic; his son, Frank M. Grubic and wife Heather; and his daughter, Melissa Lawler and husband Drew. He also leaves his grandchildren, Alexis Grubic Sneath and husband Scott, Zachary Grubic, and Riley and Haley Lawler; his sister, Marlene Raudensky and brother-in-law Chris; his niece, Marisa Lalli; and many cousins near and far.
A visitation will be held on Friday, October 30, 2026, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Wiedeman Funeral Home, 357 S. Harrisburg St., Oberlin, Steelton, PA 17113.
