Flavia (Marroquin) Smith, 84, of Hummelstown, died on Friday, September 13, 2024 at Hershey Medical Center. Born in Urapa, Michoacan, Mexico, she was the daughter of the late Joaquin and Amalia (Arriaga) Marroquin.

Flavia attended St. Francis Catholic Church. She loved gardening, collecting photos of her friends and family, and cooking for all.

Flavia is survived by her children Maria Esquivel, Manuel Marroquin, and Javier Marroquin; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; as well as four brothers and four sisters; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son Fernando Esquivel; granddaughter Amber Marroquin; three sisters; and one brother.

A Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at Wiedeman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 357 S Harrisburg Street, Oberlin. A Viewing will be held in the funeral home from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Churchville Cemetery.
