Ethel M. (Dubesky) Renaud of Enhaut, PA, entered into rest on September 1, 2025 just one day shy of her 93rd birthday, surrounded by her loving family in her home. Born September 2, 1932, in Clarence, PA (Centre Co.), she was the beloved wife of the late Delbert (Ike) Renaud, with whom she shared 53 years of marriage until his passing in 2007. She was the daughter of George and Elizabeth (Puhalla) Dubesky.
After devoting her early years to raising her family, Ethel retired from the Central Dauphin School District after 18 years of dedicated service as a cafeteria manager. She was an exceptional homemaker who found joy in cooking, baking, and sewing. Ethel loved polka dancing, bingo, playing cards with her grandchildren, and attending family sports events. She treasured family visits and celebrations, always looking forward to gathering with those she loved.
Ethel was an active and devoted member of the former St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Enhaut, PA, and is currently a member of Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Parish in Steelton, PA.
She is survived by her four children Diane Hulstine, Yvonne (Renaud) Sullivan, Dennis Renaud (Kelly) and Linda Smithers (Jeff); eight grandchildren: Jennifer, Kimberly (Joe), Jonathan (Liz), Laura (Nick), Olivia, Nate, Joshua, and Jacob; seven great-grandchildren: Jared, Ryan, Spencer, Gavin, Gemma, Elliott, and Madelyn; five sisters-in-law; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, three sisters, and son-in-law, Dave.
The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude and appreciation to Residential Hospice and caregivers Pat, Audrey and Donna for their dedication and compassionate care provided to our mother over the past few years.
