Ellie Jane Mohn, 22, of Harrisburg, passed away on Monday, May 11, 2026 at UPMC Community Osteopathic Hospital. Born in Harrisburg on September 16, 2003, she was the daughter of James Michael and Pamala Sue (Hechler) Mohn.

Ellie loved all animals, especially her dogs Willow and Romeo. She worked for PetSmart until receiving her dream job as a Veterinary Assistant with Shores Animal Hospital. She enjoyed going to hunting camp and spending time with family, friends, and her dogs. She was a loving daughter, sister, and friend who will be deeply missed.

In addition to her parents, Ellie is survived by her sister Carly Mohn; maternal grandparents Douglas Hechler and Joyce Hechler; and paternal grandparents Ronald Mohn, Sr. and Shirley Mohn; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her Nanny Joan Mohn; uncle Ronald Mohn, Jr.; and cousin Ryan Mohn.

A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at Wiedeman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 357 S Harrisburg St, Oberlin, PA 17113. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. A Viewing will take place in the funeral home prior to service from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM.
