She was a graduate of Harrisburg Catholic High School - Class of 1947. She was a member of the Junior Historian Club and the Vergilian Club. She worked for the PA Liquor Control Board as a legal secretary for 38 years.
She was an active member at Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Parish, Steelton and volunteered on the Parishes funeral luncheon committee. Also, because of her extraordinary sewing ability, she would sew Stoles for the Rites of Baptism.
Elizabeth was the daughter of the late Joseph F. and Anna Gustin Loncar and is survived by; one brother, James G. Loncar and wife Zoe, Bressler; two sisters-in-law, Rosemary Loncar, Bressler and Delores Loncar, Harrisburg; one brother-in-law, Daniel Mrksic, Lititz and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Edward and Robert Loncar and one sister, Catherine Mrksic.
Her interests included family, gardening, knitting, sewing, reading and listening to music. She loved her pets, especially her poodles Sam, Charlie Brown and Muffin, who kept her company throughout the years. Her favorite time of year was Christmas, her home would be decorated like a Christmas postcard during the holiday season and Christmas music was always playing.
She was a dedicated aunt to her many nieces and nephews and devoted much of her time taking them on trips to places like Brickerville, Peddler''s Village, and Williamsburg...always stopping for lunch at one of the favorite restaurants along the way. She gave us all a lifetime of happy memories to keep treasured in our hearts forever. We love you Aunt Ibby!
