Dorothy Marie (Smith) Moyer, 97, of Tahlequah, OK and formerly of Harrisburg, passed away on July 13, 2025. Born in Harrisburg on March 18, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Helen (O’Neil) Smith. She was the loving wife of the late William P. Moyer, with whom she shared 68 years of marriage until his passing in 2018.

Dorothy graduated from Steelton High School with the class of 1946. She worked as the attendance clerk for Dauphin County Vo-Tech School and attended the United Church of God in Harrisburg. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, and making candy.

Dorothy is survived by her children David P. Moyer and wife Lori of Womelsdorf, PA and Judy E. (Moyer) Bizzle and husband Paul of Oklahoma; her grandchildren Michelle E. Moyer, Jessica Atha and husband Jeremiah, Michael Bizzle and wife Corrine, and Jeffrey Bizzle; and 5 great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 8, 2025 at Wiedeman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc, 357 S Harrisburg Street, Oberlin, PA 17113. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. A Visitation will take place in the funeral home prior to service from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM.
