Dorothy E. "Dot" Goodyear, 89, of Swatara Twp. died Monday December 8, 2025 in her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was a retired custodian for the Central Dauphin School District.

Dot was the daughter of the late Russel and Orpha Knapp, was preceded in death by two brothers, Russel Knapp Jr. and Earl Knapp Sr.; and was the widow of Arthur S. Goodyear. She is survived by two sons, Rick Goodyear (Candee) and Keith Goodyear; two daughters; Debra Deibler (George) and Marjorie Deiter (Allan); 16 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and a fur grand pups.

A Celebration of Dot's life will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026 from 11:00 AM-3:00 PM at Chambers Hill Fire Company in the Pennsylvania Room, 6400 Chambers Hill Rd, Harrisburg, PA 17111. Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services is handling arrangements.
