Dolores C. "Dee" (Koller) Rennard

Dolores C. “Dee” (Koller) Rennard, 94, of Middletown, passed away at Oak Hill Village on Tuesday, April 29, 2025. Born in Harrisburg on March 3, 1931, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary (Gregory) Koller. She was the loving wife of the late Walter C. Rennard, Jr., who passed in 2013.

Dee was a lifelong active member of Salem Lutheran Church in Oberlin, PA. There, she started the church’s Nursery School and served as a member of the Joy Workers Group and was a Brownie Leader. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and crocheted and knitted items for local churches, schools and hospitals. Most of all, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be missed by all.

Dee is survived by her daughters Brenda (Rennard) Patterson and husband John, Wendy (Rennard) Penica and husband John, and Stephanie (Rennard) Baker and husband Ken; and her grandchildren Carol J. Patterson, Jay G. Penica and wife Dyana, Brent M. Penica and wife Katie, and Megan Peters and partner Ryan Grenauer; as well as 12 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one grandson, Ryan Donachy.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, May 16, 2025 at Salem Lutheran Church, 1152 Main Street in Oberlin, with Vicar Rosemary Tonkin officiating. Burial is private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Salem Lutheran Church at the address above.
