Diann M. Albright Thomas

Diann M. (Kolonoski) Albright Thomas, 71, of Steelton, passed away on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at UPMC Harrisburg Hospital with family by her side. Born in Harrisburg on February 5, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Steven and Mary (Charnomaz) Kolonoski. She was also preceded in death by her second husband, Ken Albright; and sister, Patricia Kolonoski.

Diann graduated from Bishop McDevitt High School with the class of 1972. She was a member of Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Parish. She worked for AFSCME for over 35 years until her retirement in 2013.

Diann was fiercely devoted to her family and friends, especially her daughter. She loved spending time at her river cabin, especially when hosting Thanksgiving at the river as “Princess Di and Hobo” with family and friends. She also loved animals, playing slots at the casinos, watching “Jeopardy!”, and listening to Bruce “The Boss” Springsteen. She was an avid Philadelphia sports fan-especially the Eagles. She enjoyed spending time outside caring for her lawn and watching sunsets. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will be extremely missed by all.

Diann is survived by her loving husband, James Richard Thomas; her daughter Kristin Graeser and her husband Brett; her granddaughter Zoey Smith; her brother Joseph Kolonoski; and her sister Sr. Barbara Ann Kolonoski; as well as a large extended family of stepchildren, step grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A Funeral Service will take place at 2:00 PM on Monday, October 6, 2025 in Wiedeman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 357 S Harrisburg Street, Oberlin, PA 17113. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. A Viewing will be held in the funeral home prior to services from 12:00 PM-2:00 PM.
