Cynthia L. (Sweitzer) Shuler, 77, of Palmyra, passed away on Friday, July 3, 2026 at Hershey Medical Center. Born in Harrisburg on October 7, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Millard and Anna (Aucker) Sweitzer. She was the loving wife of the late Gary Shuler, who preceded her in death in 2018. She was also preceded in death by her brothers Noah Sweitzer, Charlie Sweitzer, John Sweitzer, and Terry Sweitzer.

Cynthia was a member of Mount Zion United Methodist Church in Steelton. She loved singing and was a member of the Hershey Choir. She also enjoyed reading and coloring.

Cynthia is survived by her daughter, Melissa McGarahan and her husband Peter; son, Daniel Shuler; and grandchildren Connor, Kayleigh, and Aaron.

A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, July 9, 2026 at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, 6701 Jonestown Rd, Harrisburg, PA 17112. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association at www.heart.org
