Constance M. "Connie" (O'Toole) Conrad, 87, of Harrisburg, died on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at UPMC Harrisburg Hospital, surrounded by family. She was born in Renovo, PA on May 21, 1937 to the late Patrick and Carmella (Bruno) O'Toole, and was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William (Tink) Conrad and brother, Jack O'Toole.
Connie graduated from Saint Joseph High School in 1955. She worked at the Department of Revenue for the Deputy Secretary, Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency, Friendly's, and The Jackson House.
Connie coached cheerleading and helped with the Friday fish fries during Lent at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church, where she was a long time member. She loved playing bocce ball at the Hershey Italian Club. She was an avid Notre Dame fan and enjoyed going to all of her grandchildren's sporting events.
Connie is survived by her daughter, Patricia Corpman (Brad); sons William Conrad (Kim), Christopher Conrad, and Timothy Conrad (Michelle); 5 grandchildren, Lauren Summers (Zach), Anna Marie Havy (Jean-Paul), Brandon Conrad (Olivia), Kayla Conrad, and Timmy Conrad; 3 great-grandchildren, Neyland, Decker, and Monroe; sister, Patricia Rauch; in-laws, Richard Conrad (Harriet), Ida Beistline, and Linda Conrad; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, October 7, 2024 at 11:00 am in Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church, 2121 N 3rd Street, Harrisburg, with Very Rev. Paul M. Clark, as Celebrant. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery at the conclusion of Mass. A viewing will be held on Monday from 8:30 am - 10:30 am in Wiedeman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc,., 357 S. Harrisburg Street, Oberlin.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Residential Hospice at 100 Sterling Parkway, Suite 100, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050.
