Carol A. (Landis) Keefer, 71, of Middletown, passed away at home with family by her side on Thursday, January 1, 2026. Born in Lansdale, PA on June 18,1954, she was the daughter of the late Paul G. and Mildred (Heckler) Landis.

Carol was a devoted and active member of Swatara Church of God. She participated in many of the church’s groups and activities, including Sunday School, Youth Group, Housekeeping, Discipleship & Evangelism, Women’s Ministries at both the Church & Denominational levels, and the Community Closet. In her spare time, she was an author, poet, artist, and prayer warrior. She also enjoyed crochet and journaling. She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be deeply missed.

Carol is survived by her devoted husband of 52 years, Donald G. Keefer; her sons Gregory Keefer and his wife Alice, and Christopher Keefer and his wife Lisa; grandchildren Joshua, Minh, Elizabeth, Vy, Nam, and Rebekah; and her brothers Paul Landis and his wife Sharyl, and Jerome Landis.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at Swatara Church of God, 4860 Lindle Rd, Harrisburg, PA 17111. A Visitation will take place in the church prior to service from 2:00 PM-3:00PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Swatara Church of God at the address above.
