Obituary
Beverly J.Shirk Runkle, 82, of Middletown, died on Saturday, October 16, 2021 in M.S. Hershey Medical Center after recently being diagnosed with cancer.
She was a retired Data Entry Clerk for the PA Dept. of Labor and Industry and a member of the First Alliance Church, Harrisburg.
Beverly is survived by her children; Edward R. and wife Bridget E. Runkle, Karen S. Runkle and spouse Elaine Chrissos, Nancy and husband Ike Crosson and Tom E. and wife Casie Runkle, four grandchildren, Julia Runkle, Isaiah Crosson, Liam Runkle, and Ethan Runkle; and one sister, Janet Taggart.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 11:00 am in First Alliance Church, 403 S. Progress Avenue, Harrisburg with Rev. John Stoeckle officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held on Saturday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am in the church. Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Oberlin is handling arrangements.
Due to COVID-19 the family requests that all guests wear face coverings.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Alliance Church 403 S. Progress Ave., Harrisburg PA 17109.
