Obituary
Betty L. Welter Flickinger, 91, of Frey Village, Middletown and formerly of Lower Paxton Twp., died Friday, August 20, 2021 in Frey Village.
She was a homemaker and member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Steelton and the Trinity Golden Agers.
Betty was the daughter of the late Harry L. and Catherine Welter and the widow of Paul Flickinger, to whom she was married for 66 years. She is survived by one sister, Helen Bailey of Harrisburg; two brothers, Harry Welter and his wife, Elaine of Florida and Leroy Welter and his wife, Jeanne of New Cumberland; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Catherine Shick and Evelyn Zettlemoyer.
Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at 10:30 am in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery with Rev. Chad Butz, her Pastor, officiating. There will be no viewing or visitation.
Arrangements are being handled by Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Oberlin.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 221 S. Second St., Steelton, PA 17113 or Frey Village, 1020 N. Union St., Middletown, PA 17057.
