Andrew G. Rafaj, 91, of Steelton, passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at Hershey Medical Center. Born in Steelton on September 17, 1934, he was the son of the late Frank and Mary (Mikan) Rafaj. He was also preceded in death by his brother and sisters Frank, Ann, Mary, and Angeline.

Andrew was a member of Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Parish, as well as the St. Lawrence Club and the Steelton Italian Club. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, fishing, and especially gardening. He was known for sharing his homegrown tomatoes with friends and neighbors. Most of all, he was a devoted family man. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be deeply missed.

Andrew is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Marlene (Koons) Rafaj; his son Robert Andrew Rafaj and his wife Emi Nissley Rafaj; his daughter, Susan Mack and her husband John Mack; and his grandchildren Casey Rafaj, Taylor Rafaj, Connor Mack, Isabelle Mack, Molly Mack.

Services and burial are private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are being provided by Wiedeman Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
