In Loving Memory....

Esther Mae Reed Taylor, 89, of North Augusta, SC and formerly of Mechanicsburg, died Tuesday, February 14, 2012 in Select Specialty Hospital, Augusta, GA..


Esther was the daughter of the late John William and Mary Elizabeth Wells Reed and the widow of Robert Francis Gault Taylor.  She was a former member of the Cathedral Parish of St. Patrick, Harrisburg and a member of the Church of the Most Holy Trinity, North Augusta.


She is survived by three daughters and their husbands, Mary and Joseph Count, Sr. of North Augusta, SC, Joanne and Jay Saylor of Pittsford, NY, and Gale and Bob Ensminger of Harrisburg; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Robert and Rose Taylor of Tampa, FL, Mark Taylor of Danville, and Matthew Taylor of Carlisle, and daughter-in-law, Eileen Taylor of Mechanicsburg; 20 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren; and one brother, Paul Reed of Myrtle Beach, SC.  She was preceded in death by a son, Michael Taylor.


Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at 1:00 pm in St. Patrick Cathedral, 212 State St., Harrisburg with Rev. Thomas J. Rozman as celebrant. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.  A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 6:00 until 8:00 pm in Wiedeman Funeral Home, 357 S. Second St., Steelton.
