In Loving Memory....
Sadako Hirai Salerno, 83, of Freehold, NJ and formerly of Camp Hill and Steelton, died Wednesday, December 28, 2011 in her home.
She was a retired employee of the Canton Inn, Harrisburg, with over 20 years of service.
Sadako was the widow of Orlando M. Salerno and is survived by two sons, Anthony M.
Salerno and wife Janet, with whom she resided and Michael E. Salerno and wife Susan,
Mechanicsburg; one sister, Chieko, Osaka, Japan; six grandchildren, Anthony, Dominic,
James, Andrew and Matthew Salerno and Jennifer Schmidle; five great-
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the Wiedeman Funeral Home, 357 S. Second Street, Steelton, with the Rev. Raymond J. LaVoie, Officiating. Burial in Resurrection Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
