In Loving Memory....
Stanley J. Romanofsky, 68, of Elizabethville and formerly of Steelton, died Tuesday, December 13, 2011 in Harrisburg Hospital.
He was a retired Steelworker for Harrisburg Steel Company and a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Roman Catholic Church, Lykens.
Stanley was the son of the late Stanley E. Romanofsky and Jennie Nortavage Romanofsky. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Merlene M. Romanofsky; one son, Stephen J. Romanofsky & wife Rachel, Lykens; three daughters, Gail A. Romanofsky, Bressler, Karen M. Morris & husband Andrew, Harrisburg and Amy R. Romanofsky & companion Warren Daugherty, New Columbia; one brother, Dr. Robert R. Romanofsky, Hinckley, OH; one sister, Genevieve Long & husband Nelson, Rutherford; one grandson, Cameron E. Romanofsky. He was preceded in death by a brother Edward R. Romanofsky.
Mass of Christian will be celebrated on Monday, December 19, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. in Prince of Peace – Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, 815 S. Second St., Steelton, with Rev. Msgr. James M. Lyons, Celebrant. Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Monday from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. in the Wiedeman Funeral Home, 357 S. Second St., Steelton.
