PRE-ARRANGEMENT CONSIDERATIONS AND OPTIONS

Pre-planning your own funeral is one of the most responsible, caring things that you can do.  We encourage you to pre-arrange your funeral for the reasons listed below:

Planning ahead is easy with us and should be included as a part of estate planning. Our staff is available to discuss your needs at all times. We can meet with you at either of our two facilities, or a funeral director can come to your home. We offer a wide range of pre-arrangement options, including: funeral trusts, annuities and insurance policies. And if you choose to preplan (but not prepay), we will be happy to document your final wishes and keep them safely in our files.


When planning your funeral in advance, don't hesitate to ask questions. By dealing with people that you know and trust you can be sure that your pre-arrangements are being entrusted to a reputable firm. We encourage you to invite a family member, friend, attorney or your executor to be with you when making your pre-arrangements. At the Wiedeman Funeral Home, Inc. and Fackler-Wiedeman Funeral Home, our licensed funeral directors can answer all the questions and discuss any concerns you may have.



When discussing pre-paying, as well as pre-planning, the Wiedeman Funeral Home, Inc. and Fackler-Wiedeman Funeral Home are pleased to offer SecurChoice, a pre-arranged funeral program that is available through our professional association in the Pennsylvania Funeral Director's Association.


SecurChoice is a pre-paid funeral program, which utilizes a bank trust or insurance policy. 100% of your funds are placed into the trust and when paid in full at the time of pre-arrangement, the price of the funeral at today's cost is locked-in and guaranteed. We have selected SecurChoice because of the credibility of the Pennsylvania Funeral Directors Association, which strives to ensure that funeral homes abide by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
