In Loving Memory....
Steven F. “Apples” Knull, 70, of Rutherford Heights, and formerly of Steelton’s West Side, died Monday, January 30, 2012 in Community General Osteopathic Hospital ER.
He was self employed barber on Steelton’s West Side and owner and operator of Apple’s Way Tavern, Steelton. He was a member of St. Lawrence Club and VFW Post 710, Steelton.
Apples was the son of the late Steve C. and Delores M. Shank Knull and is survived by his fiancé of 23 years, Belinda Beinhaur Weiss; one son, Steven M. Knull and his wife, Marie of Middletown; four daughters, Michelle L. Taverna and her husband, Lenny of Susquehanna Twp., and Tracy L. Rapisarda and her husband, Joel, Holly S. Ward and her husband, Keith and Cindy N. Knull and her fiancé, Johnny, all of Swatara Twp; three sisters, Diana L. Gerhards and her husband, Charles, Donna M. Everson, and Kathleen H. Knull, all of Swatara Twp.; 18 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Apples was preceded in death by his brother, Terry M. Knull.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 3, 2012 at 1:00 pm in Wiedeman Funeral Home, 357 S. Second St., Steelton with Pastor Zachary C. Wenrich, Youth Pastor at Celebration Community Church, Dillsburg, officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Friday from 11:30 am until 1:00 pm in the funeral home.
