George is the father of two children, Christopher and Maria. George is a graduate of Cedar Cliff High School and Cumberland Perry Vocational Technical School. He currently lives in New Cumberland.
He is a member of St. Theresa Roman Catholic Church, an avid Bowler, a member of the Harrisburg Chapter 7, 700 Bowling Club and bowls for West Shore Fireman's Bowling League. In 2006, George received recognition for his 300 perfect score bowling game as well as a commendation from Rep. Bruce Smith for his assistance during an airplane crash near his home.
