Mrs. Jeanne Brady, age 88, formerly a resident of Camp Hill, PA, died at her home in Deltona, FL on Monday, December 26, 2011.
Mrs. Brady was born on January 24, 1923 at home, 122 Summit Street, Harrisburg,
PA to parents David Coleman (retired Harrisburg policeman) and Mae Coleman (homemaker)
of Camp Hill, PA. She graduated from Harrisburg High School in May, 1940 where she
studied business machines, typing, and shorthand. After graduation she worked for
three years at Bell Telephone as an operator on the night shift. She loved social
events, was adept at public speaking and was a finalist in the Miss Harrisburg pageant
while a senior in high school.
She married Russell D Brady of Harrisburg in 1942, the love of her life, and spouse
of 59 years. Mr. and Mrs. Brady lived in Camp Hill, PA; Cape May, NJ; Virginia Beach,
VA; Silver Springs Shores, FL; and Deltona, FL. Together, they enjoyed family events,
traveling, and taking cruises.
Mrs. Brady was an active member of the Highland Women's Club, and the Grace Lutheran Church, Camp Hill, PA. In addition, she was a member of the Moose Club in Pennsylvania, Virginia and Florida for over 50 years. She also was a member of Eastern Star, Harrisburg, Bethany Shrine of Jerusalem.

Mrs. Brady always reached out to keep those she loved close to her. Her family will
miss her spirit and vitality. Memorial services for Mrs. Brady will be held at the
