In Loving Memory....

Ralph E. Bordner, Jr., 52, of Halifax, died unexpectedly, Tuesday, December 6, 2011.


He was a retired dockworker for Stroehmann’s Bakery, Harrisburg; was an avid Eagles and NASCAR fan and loved his daughter Carissa, granddaughter Riley and his two dogs.


He is survived by his wife, Crystal Ann Matter Bordner, parents, Ralph & Judith Ann Bordner, Sr., Harrisburg; one daughter, Carissa Marie Bordner-Shaffer & husband Jameson, Herndon; one granddaughter, Riley Shaffer; one sister, Vicki Lynn Myers, Harrisburg; one brother, Jeffrey M. Bordner, Cherry Hill, NJ; two stepsons, Joshua Long, Spotsylvania, VA and Andrew Long, Millersburg; two nieces, Andrea E. Myers and Chloe Bordner.


Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the Fackler-Wiedeman Funeral Home, 23rd and Derry Streets, Harrisburg.  Burial in Riverview Memorial Gardens, Halifax.  A visitation will be held on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.


In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Tribute Program, P.O. Box 1000, Department 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142.
